In Order to use this Walkthrough you are required to have either OS/2 Warp 3.0 Connect
TCP/IP network installed on your computer.
If you are using Warp Connect this step is not required. If you are using OS/2 Warp and the
Bonus Pack you will need to obtain the new PPP dialer from IBM. This dialer can be obtained from:
ftp://ftp01.ny.us.ibm.net/pub/PPP/ or
ftp://ftp.ibm.net/pub/PPP/
The name of the dialer you are looking for is ppp.zip
If you require an unzipping utility one can be obtained from:
ftp://hobbes.nmsu.edu/os2/archiver/
The name of the utility you are looking for is pkz102_2.exe
Once the software has been installed follow the procedure below.
- Double-click the IBM Information Superhighway icon.
- Double-click the IBM Internet Connection for OS/2 icon.
- Double-click the Internet Utilities icon.
- Double-click the Dial Other Internet Providers icon.
- Double-click the Add Entry button.
