Setting up E-mail

To send and receive e-mail, you need to make sure the settings in the E-mail application are
properly configured. Follow the steps below to configure your e-mail settings.

- Press the Internet application key button.
- From the Internet main screen, use the Up and Down arrows to select E-mail.
- Press the Select button.
- Press the Settings button.
- Use the Up and Down arrows to select Sending settings
- Press the Change button.
- In the Own e-mail address text box, type your dial-up username immediately followed by
@digitex.net
For example: username@digitex.net
- In the Sending host text box, type
smtp.digitex.net
- Use the Change button to toggle between choices to Send e-mail.
- Use the Change button to select No or Yes to CC: own e-mail address
- Use the Change button to select On or Off for MIME: character encoding
- Press the Close button.
- Use the Up and Down arrows to select Remote mailbox settings
- Press the Change button.
- In the Remote mailbox user name text box, type your dial-up username.
- In the Remote mailbox password text box, type your dial-up password.
- In the Receiving host text box, type mail.digitex.net
- Use the Change button to select POP3 for the Remote mailbox protocol.
- In the Remote mailbox folder text box, type INBOX
- Use the Change button to select No or Yes to Delete retrieved mail.
- Press the Close button three (3) times to return to the main Internet menu.
