The Internet control panel is used to set up a computer to access various Internet services, such as receiving e-mail, browsing the Web, and reading newsgroups.

- From the Apple menu, point to Control Panels and choose Internet.
- Click the triangle in the lower left hand corner to expand the
window
- In the Name text box, type the user's name.
- In the E-mail Address text box, type the user's email address.
- Click the E-mail tab.
- In the User Account ID text box, type
your DigiTex.net username.
For example, username.
- In the Incoming Mail Server field type
mail.digitex.net.
- In the Password text box, type your login password.
- In the Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server field type
mail.digitex.net.
- Click the Web tab.
- In the Home Page text box, type http://www.digitex.net.
- In the Search Page text box, type http://search.digitex.net
- Click the News tab.
- In the News (NNTP) Server text box, type
news.digitex.net
- Click the close box to close the Internet control panel.
