1. From the desktop, double-click My Computer.
2. Double-click Dial-up Networking.
   

    

   	If you receive a message stating that The phonebook is empty..., then click OK to add a new entry.
   	If Dial-up Networking (DUN) already has other phone book entries, click New.
   	If the New Phonebook Entry Wizard window appears, check the box labeled I know all about phonebook entries... and click Finish.

3. In the New Phonebook Entry dialog, select the Basic tab.
4. Check Use Telephony dialing properties.
5. Uncheck Use another port if busy.
6. In the Entry name text box, type DigiTex.net
7. Check the Use Telephony dialing properties check box.
8. In the Area code text box, type the area code for the number you are dialing.
9. In the Enter your phone number text box, type your local DigiTex.net access number. Remember to check with your local telephone company to make sure that the number you choose is a local toll-free call.
10. In the Dial using list, select Multiple Lines.
11. Click the Configure button.
12. Type the country code and area code of the number you are dialing, plus the phone number itself.
13. Under Dial using, select your modem.
14. Click the Configure button.
15. Set the Initial speed (BPS) to 19,200 if you have a 14.4k modem or 38,400 if you have a 28.8k modem.
16. Make sure all three Hardware Features boxes are checked (if applicable) and that Disable modem speaker is not checked.
17. Click OK.
18. Select the Server tab.
19. The Dial-up server type should be PPP: Windows NT, Windows 95 Plus, Internet.
20. For Network Protocols only TCP/IP should be checked.
21. Make sure Enable software compression is checked, but Enable PPP LCP extensions unchecked.
22. Click the TCP/IP settings button.
23. Select Server assigned IP address and Specify name server addresses.
24. For Primary DNS, type 68.93.224.10
25. For Secondary DNS, type 68.93.224.12
26. Leave the Primary WINS and Secondary WINS servers at 0.0.0.0.
27. Check both Use IP header compression and Use default gateway on remote network.
28. Click OK.
29. Select the Script tab.
30. Make sure None is selected.
31. Select the Security tab.
32. Select Accept any authentication including clear text.
33. On the New Phonebook Entry window, click OK.
34. Click the Dial button.
35. In the Username text box, type your DigiTex.net username. For example: username
36. In the password text box, type your DigiTex.net password. You do not need to type a domain.
37. You can click the Save Password check box, if you would like to do so.
38. Click the OK button to dial into DigiTex.net.
39. Click OK to close the connection successful window.
