If you have upgraded Win NT 3.51 to Win NT 4.0, you must rename the RASINF.EXE file
to install the your BitSURFR Pro, also Windows NT must recognize and register the BitSURFR
Pro modem in order to continue.

Double-click the My Computer icon.
- Click the Control Panel folder.
- Click the Modems icon.
- Click the Don't detect my modem... button.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Have Disk button.
- Insert the Surfr Setup diskette into your floppy drive, usually your A: drive.
- Click the OK button.
- Select the correct driver for your modem from the list.
Note: The ISA Card is not compatible with Windows NT 4.0.
- Click the OK button.
- Click the Next button.
- Select the COM port for which your modem is configured.
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
- Select your Bitsurfr Pro form the list.
- Click the Properties button.
- Select the Maximum speed 115,200.
- Select the Connections tab.
- Click the Advanced button.
- In the Extra Settings text box, type one of the following initialization strings.
For Single Channel (56Kbps) type
%A2=95%A4=1
For Single Channel (64Kbps) type
%A2=95%A4=0
For Multilink (112Kbps) type
%A2=95@B0=2%A4=1
For Multilink (128Kbps) type
%A2=95@B0=2%A4=0
Click the OK button.
Click the OK button.
Click the Yes button.
Click the Close button.
