Configure the BitSURFR PRO EZ
- If the configuration program is not running, start it now.
- Click the Start button, choose Programs, point to ISDN SURFR Setup and select ISDN SURFR Setup.
- Click the Configure button.
- In the Your phone company: text box, use the drop-down arrow to select your phone company. If you do not see your phone company listed, choose None of the above.
- In the Your Area Code: text box, type your area code.
- In the Phone Number 1 (Data/Voice 2) text box, type the directory (phone) number for B1.
- In the Phone Number 2 (Voice 1) text box, type the directory (phone) number for B2.
- Check the Use ISDN auto-configuration box.
- Click the Next button. The BitSURFR PRO EZ will attempt to automatically detect your SPID and Switch type. This process may take a few minutes.
- Click the Close button.
If the automatic configuration fails
- Click the Next button.
- In the Switch Type list, select your switch type.
- In the Switch Version list, select your switch version/software.
- In the Data/Voice 2 SPID (Service Profile ID) text box, type the SPID number for B1.
- In the (7 Digit Phone Number) text box, type the directory number for B1.
- In the Voice 1 SPID (Service Profile ID) text box, type the SPID number for B2.
- In the (7 Digit Phone Number) field type the directory number for B2
- Select the Auto button for Data/Voice2
- Select the Auto button for Data/Voice1
- Check the Update Caller ID clock box.
- Click the Next button. The BitSURFR PRO EZ will attempt to manually configure the modem. This process may take a few minutes.
- Click the Close button.
- Click the Exit button.
