Configuring SPIDS using the FreePPP 2.5
Make sure your modem is plugged in and on, you should see a solid red light
- Click the Connect button.
- At the prompt, type AT wait for the OK
- Type AT!C0= immediately followed by your switch type. For example: AT!C0=1
- Press Enter key wait and for the OK
- Type AT!C1= immediately followed by your switch version. For example: AT!C1=1
- Press Enter key wait and for the OK
- Type AT!C6= immediately followed by your your first SPID number. For example: AT!C6=626-555-1212
- Press Enter key wait and for the OK
- Type AT!N1= immediately followed by your phone number. For example: AT!N1=555-1212
- Press Enter key.
Note: If you only have one channel skip this step.
- Type AT*1!C6= immediately followed by your second SPID number. For example: AT*1!C6=555-1212
- Press Enter key.
- Type AT!N1= immediately followed by your phone number. For example: AT!N1=555-1212
- Press Enter key.
- Type AT>W>Z then press Enter key. You should now see a green light on your modem.
If you do not, then retry the connection steps above, you may want to check the connection to your ISDN modem.
- Click the Exit button.
