Configure FreePPP 2.5
|
- From the Apple menu items select Control Panels
- Double-click the FreePPP 2.5 setup icon.
- Click the triangle in the lower left hand corner to expand the window.
- Click the Accounts tab.
- For a new PPP Server click the New button.
- In the Server name text box, type My ISDN connection.
- In the Phone Number text box, type your local dial-up access number. Remember to check with your local telephone company to make sure that the number you choose is a local toll-free call.
- From the Connect list, select Directly.
- In the User name text box, type your DigiTex.net username. For example,
username.
- In the Password text box, type your login password.
- Click the Connection tab.
- From the Port Speed list, select 115200 bps.
- From the Flow Control list, CTS Only.
- In the Modem init string text box, type ATZ. or check your modem manual for the proper init string.
Note: If you have a 3C877 model Impact, you will need to include this in the string: ATS61=2
- Click the OK button.
- Click the General tab.
- Close the FreePPP window.
- Restart your computer.
