Install the Modem Configuration Software 3.0

- Put the 3Com Impact Installer Diagnostic Utilities disk into your 3.5-inch disk drive.
- Double-click the 3Com Impact Mac folder.
- In the text box, type the first 7 digit ISDN phone number.
- Click the Next button.
- In the text box, type the second 7 digit ISDN phone number.
Note: If you have a single B Channel line only, type the same phone number and SPID.
- Click the Next button.
- Choose the appropriate Switch for your line from the list.
Note: If you have a 5 ESS Custom Switch that is Point to Point,
only type the Phone Number #1 and nothing else.
- For B Channel Rate choose either 56K or 64K.
- Check the PPP check box.
- Click the Update Configuration button. Your power light should be on. If not, go back and
reconfigure the modem.
- When finished, click the Quit button.
