1. Using File Manager, go to the directory to which you downloaded the mIRC setup file.
2. Double-click the downloaded file (mirc472s.exe)
3. When you see the mIRC v4.72 16bit Installation window, click the Install button.
4. Wait for the files to install.
5. When you see the mIRC Installation window, click the OK button.
6. Double-click the mIRC icon from the mIRC v4.72 program group to open mIRC.
7. When you see the About mIRC window, click anywhere in the window.
8. You will see the mIRC Setup window. Type your name in the Real Name text box.
9. In the E-Mail text box, type your DigiTex.net email address.
10. In the Nickname text box, type a name that you wish to be known as.
11. In the Alternate text box, type an altername name that you wish to be known as (if your first choice is in use.)
12. Click the Identd tab.
13. Click to place an x in the box Enable Identd server.
14. Click the IRC Servers tab.
15. Click the OK button.
16. From the menu bar, click File and choose Setup.
17. Highlight Randon US Undernet server.
18. Click the Connect button.
19. If you can not connect to one server, it may be full, try another one.
20. You are now configured to chat using mIRC.
