Netscape Navigator Can Prompt You to
Disconnect on Exit

In order to make Netscape prompt you to disconnect from the Internet when you exit the program, you can modify your Windows Registry.
Warning: Please back up your registry before making any changes!
 
  1. Close all open applications.
  2. Click the Start button.
  3. From the Start menu, choose Run.
  4. In the Open text box, type regedit

  5. Double-click HKEY_CURRENT_USER.
  6. Double-click Software.
  7. Double-click Netscape.
  8. Double-click Netscape Navigator.
  9. Double-click Automation Shutdown.

  10. From the menu bar, click Edit point to New then point to String Value.

  11. For the name of this string, type NNPE.SHUTDOWN.1

  12. Close the registry window.
