Configuring Netscape Communicator 4.0x

- Double-click the Hard Drive icon.
- Double-click the Netscape CommunicatorTM Folder icon.
- Double-click the Netscape CommunicatorTM icon.
- Click the Next button to start creating a user profile.
- In the Your Name text box, type your name.
- In the Email Address text box, type your DigiTex.net username, immediately followed by
@digitex.net.
For example: username@digitex.net
- Click the Next button to confirm your name as the title for your standard Netscape Communicator profile.
- Click the Next button to confirm the default location for your preferences, bookmarks, etc.
- Click the Done button to confirm the first phase of configuring Communicator.
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
- Under category, make sure that Navigator is selected.
- In the Home page location text box, type http://www.digitex.net
- Click the triangle to the left of Mail & Groups to reveal more options.
- Under Mail & Groups, select Mail Server.
- In the Mail server user name text box, type your DigiTex.net username, without a prefix.
- In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server text box, type mail.digitex.net
- In the Incoming mail server text box, type mail.digitex.net
- Click the More Options button.
- Check the Remember my mail password check box.
- Click the OK button.
- Under Mail & Groups, select Groups Server.
- In the Discussion groups (news) server text box, type news.digitex.net
- Click the OK button.
