Getting Started with Cyberdog

System Requirements
- The application requires a Power Macintosh, Open Doc 1.1, and System 7.5.3 or better.
Download
- Open a web browser (Netscape Navigator, MSIE, Cyberdog, etc.)
- In the Location text box, type ftp://ftp.apple.com/Apple.Support.Area/Apple.Software.Updates/
- Click the US link.
- Click the Macintosh link.
- Click the Networking-Communications link.
- Click the Cyberdog link.
- Click the Cyberdog_1.2.1-Net_Install.sea.hqx link to download.
- After downloading, click File and select Quit.
Install
- Double-click the Cyberdog_1.2.1-Net_Install folder.
- Double-click the Install CyberdogPPC icon.

- Click Continue.
- Read the Apple License Agreement and click Agree if you agree to its terms.
- Click Install.

- Click Restart

Configure
- Double-click the Cyberdog icon.

- The first item you will see is the Cyberdog 1.2.1 Notebook.

- On the menu bar, click Mail/News and select Mail & News Setup.
- In the area on the left, click the Mail icon.

- In the Default Mail Address field, type your username@digitex.net.
- In the SMTP Host field, type mail.digitex.net
- Click the Set Folder button.

- Click Save in "Cyberd...Folder".

- In the area on the left, click the Mail Trays icon.

- In the Mail Accounts field, Click the Add button.
- Type your username@digitex.net
- Click OK.


- In the Personal Mail Trays field, Click the Add button.
- Type Incoming
- Click OK.

- In the area on the left, click the Messages icon.
- In the My Name field, Type Your Name.
- Type Incoming

- In the area on the left, click the News icon.
- In the Default News Server field, type news.digitex.net

- Click OK
- That's it.
