System Requirements

1. The application requires a Power Macintosh, Open Doc 1.1, and System 7.5.3 or better.
   

Download

1. Open a web browser (Netscape Navigator, MSIE, Cyberdog, etc.)
2. In the Location text box, type ftp://ftp.apple.com/Apple.Support.Area/Apple.Software.Updates/
   
3. Click the US link.
4. Click the Macintosh link.
5. Click the Networking-Communications link.
6. Click the Cyberdog link.
7. Click the Cyberdog_1.2.1-Net_Install.sea.hqx link to download.
8. After downloading, click File and select Quit.

Install

1. Double-click the Cyberdog_1.2.1-Net_Install folder.
   
2. Double-click the Install CyberdogPPC icon.
   

   

   
   
3. Click Continue.
   
4. Read the Apple License Agreement and click Agree if you agree to its terms.
   
5. Click Install.
   

   

   
   
6. Click Restart
   

   

   
   

Configure

1. Double-click the Cyberdog icon.
   

   

   
   
2. The first item you will see is the Cyberdog 1.2.1 Notebook.
   

   

   
   
3. On the menu bar, click Mail/News and select Mail & News Setup.
   
4. In the area on the left, click the Mail icon.
   

   

   
   
5. In the Default Mail Address field, type your username@digitex.net.
   
6. In the SMTP Host field, type mail.digitex.net
   
7. Click the Set Folder button.
   

   

   
   
8. Click Save in "Cyberd...Folder".
   

   

   
   
9. In the area on the left, click the Mail Trays icon.
   

   

   
   
10. In the Mail Accounts field, Click the Add button.
11. Type your username@digitex.net
12. Click OK.
    

    

    
    

    

    
    
13. In the Personal Mail Trays field, Click the Add button.
14. Type Incoming
15. Click OK.
    

    

    
    
16. In the area on the left, click the Messages icon.
17. In the My Name field, Type Your Name.
18. Type Incoming
    

    

    
    
19. In the area on the left, click the News icon.
20. In the Default News Server field, type news.digitex.net
    

    

     
21. Click OK
22. That's it.
