Conflicts between the Object Support Lib 1.1.1 and Netscape

If you are having trouble using Netscape with America Online 3.0, the Object Support Lib File may be conflicting with Netscape. America Online 3.0 installs version 1.1.1 of this file. Netscape needs this file but cannot see version 1.1.1. so you must revert to version 1.1. You may try the following:

- Double-click the Macintosh Hard Drive.
- Double-click the System Folder.
- Double-click the Extensions Folder.
- Find the Object Support Lib file. Click it once to highlight it and from the File menu choose Get Info.
- If the version number is 1.1.1, this may be the problem. Drag this file out of the Extensions folder.
- To obtain version 1.1, you may either call America Online, or
download the file from:
- http://tsp.ucdavis.edu/nar/files/Eudora/ObjectSupportLib.hqx
