Possible AOL Link Extension Conflicts with
Free PPP Dialer

The AOL Link extension may conflict with our Free PPP dialer. If this is the case, the Connect button on the Free PPP dialer will be grayed out. Do the following:

- Double-click the Macintosh Hard Drive.
- Double-click the System Folder.
- Double-click the Extensions Folder.
- Find the AOL Link extension and drag it out to the desktop or anywhere outside the Extensions folder.
- Under the Special menu choose Restart.
- When the computer reboots, attempt to log on to DigiTex.net using the Free PPP dialer.
- If it still does not connect, go to the Apple menu, scroll to Control Panels, choose TCP/IP (or MacTCP and click More to display DNS numbers).
- Make sure that the DNS number is 68.93.224.10 or 68.93.224.12. Any one of these will work.
- Close TCP/IP (or MacTCP) and attempt to log on again.
